Data stored locally
The application stores your language, onboarding state, reduced-motion preference, the identifiers of projects selected in SCOPE GUARD and certain interface markers on the iPhone. These preferences remain local until they are changed, removed or the application is reset.
Cache and public data
The public Feed, its manifest, history and events may be stored in the application’s Application Support folder. Writes are atomic and hashes are verified. A recent cache may be used when the network is unavailable. Demonstration fixtures are bundled with the application and contain no user data.
Apple subscriptions
Apple StoreKit provides products, prices, purchases and restoration. ARKOSCOPE uses the transaction state supplied by Apple to calculate access. The application does not store or log purchase receipts.
Network calls and third-party services
- The public JSON Feed is hosted on Cloudflare R2 and read through anonymous HTTPS GET requests, without a body, account, cookie, followed-project list or authorization header.
- The application does not contact CoinGecko directly.
- Apple processes StoreKit operations under its own terms.
- VISION PRO uses an optional account created through Sign in with Apple, only to tie the paid subscription to its owner. ARKOSCOPE receives no name and no email address from it. Apple’s App Attest is used to protect the private delivery against abuse.
- The public website is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. ARKOSCOPE adds no analytics, advertising pixel or application cookie; Cloudflare may process technical data required for HTTPS delivery under its own policy.
What is not collected
No name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, wallet, holdings, purchase price, PnL, capital, wealth, financial profile or personal investment objective. The optional VISION PRO account carries none of these either. No analytics, advertising, tracking, push notification, Firebase, Supabase or advertising identifier.
Retention and deletion
Preferences and cache stay on the device. A user may unfollow a project or delete the application and its local data using iOS controls. Transactions are retained and administered by Apple.
